Names are so important and they are powerful. God's names have strength and meaning begind them and they are important to know. So, I compiled a list of some of His names below. Enjoy!
Alpha and omega: Revelation 1:8 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
Ever since the beginning, the Lord was there, and he will always be there for us if we follow him.
Bread of Life: John 6:32 “Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.”
As Christians, we need to live on the word of God, and read the Bible because it is our life.
Cornerstone: Psalm 118:22 “The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
To live a good life, we need to make God the center of everything.
Counsellor: Isaish 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
No matter what, we can always go to God for help. He gave us His word so we would know how to live our lives, and He always wants us to come to Him in prayer when we need anything. Isn’t it amazing that the God of the universe wants to hear our problems, and actually cares about us?
Deliverer: Romans 11:26 “And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the deliver, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:”
God sent His son, Jesus, down to earth to deliver us from our sins. We need Jesus to have eternal life.
Good Shepherd: John 19:11 “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
God cares about each and every one of us. We are His sheep, and He is our shepherd.
I am: John 3:16 “Jesus said unto them, verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”
Lord of Lords: 1 Timothy 6:15 “Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords;”
God is above everything and everyone. But yet He still cares about us.
