Growing up in a Christian household I was always raised in a sheltered, safe environment. Although I was saved at the young age of five, I wasn't necessarily walking with God. Church was simply a routine for me and my biblical knowledge was scarce. As a young adolescent, I had no experience debating, evangelizing, or even holding a coherent conversation for more than five minutes. My point is that I had an opportunity to learn through the Bible, even at a young age. Life has progressed, and I've matured and obtained a closer relationship with the Lord, for which I'm thankful. This wasn't because of attending church, although I love it, but rather because I took time to read the Bible. Church is great, but you have 6 other days of the week to get closer to God. To summarize, not only would I recommend, but I would also encourage you to read the Bible. By reading your Bible every day, you will gain wisdom and knowledge from the scriptures. So, for those who already read their Bibles every day, I commend you. Keep the faith and fight the good fight. If you don't fall into this category, then I recommend you start. It's never too late to grow your relationship with Christ.
